To perform a site survey for network topology, take these steps:1) First you need to create a site survey wizard (SSW). A SSW contains the frequencies and channels you want to use for your particular selection. The SSW can be saved as an XML file or as an ASCII file. The SSW must contain the following information about the specific frequency and channel parameters: frequency, channel, mode, comment.2) Once you have created your SSW, save it with any name (.xml or .txt), then run it by clicking the play button on the left side of its window. Click to magnify that image in order to see more detail. 3) At the end of the SSW, an SSW report will be displayed with all the information you have selected. You can save this report as an XML or ASCII file. From here you can open it later to print it or modify it if needed.You should also print a detailed survey report for each SSW, so you have a record of your frequency selections. You can find that paper report under "File->Print Survey" on the menu bar at the top of the window.
